Appeals Process

On occasion, an applicant may seek to appeal the decision or processing of an application. You can set the status to Active - In Appeals when the program is in Stage 2 - Submitted, 3 - Qualification, or 4 - Underwriting. See for more information about program stages and statuses.

To ensure the Agency has clear records on the status, dates, and other details about appeals, the Edit Program Qualification screen includes an Appeals tab for collecting this information on a per-application basis.

To see appeals across the system, you can use My Queue (View = Appeals) or, if you need more detailed reporting, the Program Qualifications data view.

Appeals Tab

The Appeals tab provides a location for tracking appeals on the program decision. While none of the fields are required, we recommend recording as much information as possible to maintain an accurate history of the appeal and report on it as needed.
