History

The ProLink application maintains a history of all actions and changes to a record. The History screen displays changes to values on a specific screen or all changes for the selected record. This history provides information about what the values were before it was updated and who saved the change. Specifically, the screen displays the action, the field name, the “old” value, the “new” value, the name of the user who made the change, and the audit (change) date. From the History screen, you can export the history records to an Excel spreadsheet.

To access history, click History in the top menu bar of the Edit screen.

Example 1. Record of Changes

In the example, changes were made to several different fields that already had values as well as fields that had never been populated with data. The History screen captures the new value for fields that had not be populated previously, and it shows both old and new values for the fields that were changed.
